Joe Keery Gives a Glimpse Into His New Sci-Fi Film 'Cold Storage'

Joe Keery returns to acting in the upcoming sci-fi comedy ‘Cold Storage’, based on David Koepp’s bestselling novel.
Joe Keery recently released his third studio album The Crux as Djo, showing off his impressive skills as a musician. But it’s time to remind ourselves that he’s also an actor, with his new project now in the spotlight—a first look at his upcoming sci-fi comedy Cold Storage has just been revealed.
According to Variety, Samuel Goldwyn Films acquired the rights to the movie, which led the filmmakers to release the first image. In the photo, Keery and English actress Georgina Campbell are peeking through a hole in a wall, each holding a flashlight.
Cold Storage is based on David Koepp’s 2019 novel, in which a dangerous, fast-spreading organism escapes from a secret government bunker where it had been hidden for decades. Now, a retired bioterror expert and two ordinary security guards must team up to stop it before it wipes out humanity.
In Cold Storage, Joe Keery plays Travis Meacham, with Georgina Campbell as Naomi Williams, Liam Neeson as Robert Quinn,
Sosie Bacon as Dr. Hero Martins, and many more.
While no specific release date has been announced yet, Cold Storage is expected to hit theaters sometime in 2025.
