Jacob Elordi’s New Miniseries 'The Narrow Road to the Deep North' Lands Release Date

Australian actor Jacob Elordi, known for his role as Nate Jacobs in Euphoria, is returning to TV screens in the new Australian drama miniseries The Narrow Road to the Deep North, which has just revealed its release date!
According to Deadline, Prime Video—already handling the series in several regions—has acquired U.S. rights from Sony Pictures Television and will release it on Friday, April 18.
The Narrow Road to the Deep North is based on Richard Flanagan’s novel of the same name, which explores the horrors faced by Australian prisoners of war forced to work on the Thai-Burma Death Railway during World War II. The story follows Dorrigo Evans (played by Elordi), a surgeon and war hero grappling with the traumas of war, his romances, and the lasting scars of survival.
Joining Elordi are Odessa Young as Amy Mulvaney,
Ciarán Hinds as Older Dorrigo Evans,
Olivia DeJonge as Ella,
Heather Mitchell as Older Ella, and
Thomas Weatherall as Frank Gardiner, among others.
Elordi’s latest movie, On Swift Horses, co-starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and
Will Poulter, hits theaters on April 25 following its premiere at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival.
He’ll also portray Frankenstein’s monster in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, opposite
Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein, set for release in November. Additionally, he’s set to star in the Gothic psychological drama Wuthering Heights alongside
Margot Robbie.
The Narrow Road to the Deep North premieres on Prime Video on April 18, 2025.
