Gigi Perez Reveals Release Date For Debut Album 'At The Beach, In Every Life'

Gigi Perez officially announced her debut album, At The Beach, In Every Life, set for release on Friday, April 25, 2025, via Island Records and Universal Music Ireland. Although her 2023 EP How to Catch a Falling Knife introduced her to wider audiences, this self-produced full-length marks her formal debut following her signing to Island Records in September 2024 after departing from Interscope earlier that year.

Announcing the album on April 14, 2025, Perez shared an intimate trailer exploring her grief over losing her sister, Celene, who passed away in July 2020. “This is the album I needed to listen to when I was twenty years old following the passing of my older sister, Celene,” Perez stated. “It’s taken years to process, and seeing how it’s colored everything in my life, it feels like a flag down in the sand at a checkpoint rather than a destination.”

The album has been recorded and executive produced by Perez herself, created with collaborators Noah Weinman and Aidan Hobbs. It will include her breakout hit Sailor Song alongside previously released tracks Normalcy, Please Be Rude, Fable, and Chemistry.

Perez rose to prominence with her viral hit Sailor Song, which peaked at #22 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached #1 in Ireland, Latvia, and the UK. The track has amassed over 400 million global streams since its July 2024 release.

Her style tends to gravitate towards indie-folk sounds, as heard on recent singles Fable (released October 2024) and Chemistry (early 2025). Chemistry, produced by longtime collaborator Aidan Hobbs, marks a shift from her acoustic roots toward a more dynamic indie-pop sound with electronic textures.

Perez is currently on her first-ever headline tour, with a sold-out show at Dublin’s National Stadium on April 15, 2025, before performing at London’s KOKO on April 17. Her 2025 schedule also includes dates opening for Hozier and Mumford & Sons.
