Sam Barber has announced his new EP, Music for the Soul, set for release on August 1, 2025, via Atlantic Records. Leading with the single Home Tonight (produced by Grammy-winner Ryan Hewitt and Joe Becker) the project offers a more personal look into Barber’s songwriting.
The seven-track EP weaves through themes of reflection and perseverance, with songs like Man of the Year, Dust and Smoke, and Ain’t Dead Yet. Barber gave fans a first listen to Home Tonight through his Sam Barber Files platform, sharing insights into the creative process. This release follows his 2024 debut album Restless Mind, which featured the Billboard-charting hit Indigo and the platinum-certified single Straight and Narrow.
Currently, Barber is on a sold-out North American headline tour, including stops like Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa. Known for his mix of country and alternative influences, Barber continues to build his profile as an emerging voice in Americana.
