Adeline Rudolph Debuts as Kitana in 'Mortal Kombat II' Trailer

Adeline Rudolph makes her first appearance as Kitana in the official trailer for Mortal Kombat II, the sequel to the 2021 reboot of the video game franchise. The trailer gives a quick look at Rudolph in costume, equipped with Kitana’s signature steel fans and standing alongside Jade, played by
Tati Gabrielle.
Kitana is one of the most recognizable characters from the Mortal Kombat games, and this marks her first appearance in the current film series. In the new movie, she’s part of the growing conflict between Earthrealm and Outworld, with returning threats like Shang Tsung and new ones like Shao Kahn.
Rudolph joins a large ensemble cast that includes Karl Urban as Johnny Cage,
Ludi Lin as Liu Kang,
Hiroyuki Sanada as Scorpion, and
Lewis Tan as Cole Young. Mortal Kombat II is directed by Simon McQuoid and will be released in theaters and IMAX on October 24, 2025.
