American actor Jack Quaid recently went on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to discuss his upcoming movie, Novocaine, in which he plays a man who feels no pain. During the interview, he revealed a moment that will keep him awake at night for the next few weeks.

Jimmy Kimmel reminds Quaid of a billboard for the movie on Sunset Blvd and shows a picture of Quaid standing in front of it, striking the same pose as on the billboard—but with a very uncomfortable expression.

Quaid explained that one evening, he decided to jog to his billboard, calling it a “dream come true.” Thinking he was in the dark where nobody could see him, he began admiring it, even saying “good job” to himself.

What he didn’t know was that someone else was there too. The stranger asked if he was the guy on the billboard. Quaid felt embarrassed for staring at his own billboard, admitting he was “dying inside.” The stranger then asked Quaid to take a picture of him standing next to it, which he did—but judging by his face, he couldn’t shake that awkward feeling.

Quaid is taking the promotion of Novocaine to the next level. He recently attended a Clippers game as a fan with his co-star, LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - JANUARY 15: Amber Midthunder attends the 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards at Fairmont Century Plaza on January 15, 2023 in Los Angeles, California.
