Halle Bailey deactivates her social media after criticizing ex DDG for sharing their son on Kai Cenat’s livestream without her consent.

It seems that The Little Mermaid actress Halle Bailey has deactivated her social media accounts. The news comes after she criticized her ex-boyfriend, DDG, and father of her child, for showing off their 11-month-old son, baby Halo, on Kai Cenat’s livestream earlier this week.

In a now-deleted post on X, she said she was “extremely upset” and did not approve of Halo being on a stream viewed by millions of people. She added that it saddened her that no one informed her about it, as she feels responsible for protecting him.

In a follow-up tweet, she shared that she’s experiencing “severe postpartum” and wishes people would respect her boundaries. She ended the tweet with, “Nobody knows what someone is going through until they snap.”

Some people agreed with her, supporting her right to privacy, and compared this situation to when Kanye West objected to his children being posted online, with fans rallying behind him against Kim Kardashian.

Others were critical, arguing that Bailey frequently shares images of baby Halo on social media and that DDG is also his parent. Some even pointed out that, as a YouTuber, DDG might naturally share his personal life online.

This backlash may have contributed to Bailey’s decision to deactivate her social media accounts to avoid the toxicity of online arguments. It’s unsurprising, given that she was trending #2 on X in the US after the posts.

Bailey and DDG began dating in December 2021, and their son, Halo, was born in December 2023. Last month, DDG announced that he and Bailey had broken up and agreed to co-parent Halo.
