The Little Mermaid actress Halle Bailey isn’t stopping with her music! This time, though, it seems like there’s something more beneath the surface.
Halle and the rapper DDG recently broke up, taking everyone by surprise. After all, they had just welcomed a baby, Halo, and in such a short time, their family has fallen apart.
It seems DDG may not fully grasp the seriousness of having a baby, Halo, and how life-changing that responsibility is.
Halle has turned to music to express her emotions about the breakup. In a snippet of a song, she sings:
It’s clear that the breakup is taking a heavy toll on her, but music is providing a way for her to release her feelings, ease her mind, and share her story with the world.
Halle and DDG started dating in 2021, and almost exactly two years later, little Halo was born. Less than a year after that, they decided to end their relationship. The silver lining, however, is that they are committed to co-parenting and raising Halo together. Who knows—maybe there’s still a chance for reconciliation in the future!
