Jodie Comer Faces the Rage Virus in '28 Years Later' Latest Trailer

Jodie Comer joins the ‘28 Days Later’ universe in ‘28 Years Later’ as the horror sequel drops its intense second trailer.
English actress Jodie Comer is set to make her horror film debut in the long-anticipated 28 Weeks Later sequel, 28 Years Later, and the second trailer for the film has just been released!
The trailer begins with a group of armed men in a dark corridor, who are suddenly attacked by an aggressive individual infected with the Rage virus. Later, we see the isolated island where the survivors live, as Jamie and Spike leave in search of a cure and discover the horrors waiting for them outside their safe community.
28 Years Later takes place nearly three decades after the Rage virus outbreak. The story follows Jamie (played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and his 12-year-old son Spike (played by Alfie Williams), who live on a small island off the coast of England. When Spike’s mom Isla (played by Jodie Comer) becomes seriously ill, they leave their safe home to find help on the mainland.
Joining Comer, Taylor-Johnson, and Williams are Ralph Fiennes as Dr. Kelson,
Jack O’Connell as Sir Jimmy Crystal,
Edvin Ryding as Erik Sundqvist, with
Erin Kellyman and
Emma Laird in undisclosed roles.
Comer’s upcoming projects include the psychological thriller The Last Disturbance of Madeline Hynde with Patricia Arquette and
Michael Sheen, and the thriller The Death of Robin Hood with
Hugh Jackman and
Bill Skarsgård.
28 Years Later will hit theaters on June 20, 2025.
