Leslie Grace is taking to Instagram to invite all her fans to a screening of her upcoming movie In The Summers, which is finally getting a theatrical release in Los Angeles and New York City. Leslie will be a part of a special screening in Santa Monica, and she will be accompanied by her co-stars Sasha Calle and Lio Mehiel for a Q&A, so if you have any questions, you know where to go.
So what is In The Summers all about? The story focuses on two sisters and their relationship with their father, played by Residente, during summer visits they pay him every year. Loosely based on director Alessandra Lacorazza’s childhood, the movie marks her debut as both writer and director.
After its premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival this January and winning the Grand Jury Prize Dramatic as well as the U.S. Dramatic Award for Directing, Screenwriting and Editing, the film is now headed to selected movie theaters on September 20.
