Alycia Debnam-Carey joins Legendary’s new Monsterverse film, reuniting with Apple Cider Vinegar co-star Kaitlyn Dever.

Australian actress Alycia Debnam-Carey is set to reunite with her Apple Cider Vinegar co-star Kaitlyn Dever in Legendary’s new Monsterverse movie!

Deadline reports that she’s joining Jack O’Connell, Matthew Modine, Delroy Lindo, and Dan Stevens. The film will be directed by Grant Sputore, and while not much is known about the plot, it will reportedly introduce new characters and Titans—including Godzilla and Kong—and will serve as a follow-up to Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.

The movie was announced in 2024 following the success of The New Empire, with Dave Callaham hired to write the screenplay. Sputore replaces Adam Wingard as director. Filming recently kicked off in Queensland, Australia.

Most recently, Debnam-Carey starred in the sci-fi comedy It’s What’s Inside alongside American actress and singer Brittany O'GradyBrittany O’Grady, and in the Australian drama series Apple Cider Vinegar with Kaitlyn Dever. She will also star in the upcoming comedy Liked with Sam Lerner.
