Aimee Lou Wood Breaks Silence on Viral Crying Photos after 'SNL' Skit

Aimee Lou Wood clears the air on her emotional moment in London after a ‘Saturday Night Live’ parody sparked headlines.
English actress Aimee Lou Wood, who has recently been the talk of the town after being spotted crying on the streets of London following a parody on Saturday Night Live, took to social media to clarify the situation.
The White Lotus star addressed the moment on her Instagram Stories, where she reposted a supportive message from a fan, thanked them, and explained that she “wasn’t crying from anything that the papers made out.” She added that the real reason was something else entirely, unrelated to the parody.
As an apology, Saturday Night Live comedian Sarah Sherman — who portrayed Wood in the sketch — sent her a large bouquet of flowers, which Wood shared on her Instagram story, thanking her for the kind gesture.
And Sherman wasn’t the only one to say sorry — Saturday Night Live itself also issued an apology, which Wood confirmed on Instagram.
