Tyler1’s win at The Streamer Awards takes an unexpected turn. His reaction? Priceless and utterly Tyler.

At The Streamer Awards 2024, Tyler1’s win for Best Chess Streamer was as unexpected as his reaction—totally chill. While anyone else might have been over the moon, especially beating chess champs like BotezLive, Swedish-Spanish chess player and social media personality Anna CramlingAnna Cramling, and GothamChess, Tyler could only focus on his League of Legends grind.

With a massive following of over 5.2 million on Twitch, this gaming vet has been a fan fave since 2013, thanks to his dynamic League playthroughs. But lately, chess has been his jam, nearly consuming him since last September. Yet, when the big moment came at the lavish The Wiltern in LA, hosted by QTCinderella, Tyler’s focus was miles away, fixated on a losing streak in League.
