Gary Sinise, known as Lieutenant Dan Taylor from the movie “Forrest Gump” (1994) mourns the loss of his son, McCanna Anthony Sinise, who died at the age of 33 after battle with a rare form of bone cancer.
McCanna Anthony Sinise studied songwriting and composition at the University of Southern California and was described by his father as an “exceptional drummer.” Despite his illness, he completed his album “Resurrection & Revival” and frequently performed with the actor’s group Lt. Dan Ban Band.
