The first trailer for ‘After the Hunt’ previews Ayo Edebiri in a tense campus drama alongside Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield.

The first trailer for the film just dropped, giving a glimpse of the complex power dynamics playing out on a college campus.

Edebiri plays Maggie Price, a standout student who tells her professor, Alma Olsson (Julia Roberts), that a colleague, Henrik Gibson (Andrew Garfield), crossed the line. What starts as a moment of trust quickly turns uncomfortable, especially when Gibson fights back by accusing Maggie of plagiarism. Things only get messier as Alma’s connection to the situation becomes harder to ignore.

The trailer leans into uncomfortable conversations and blurred lines, with Edebiri and Roberts trading sharp, uneasy dialogue. Guadagnino, known for Call Me by Your Name and Challengers, brings his signature intensity to the story.

After the Hunt hits theaters in October 2025.
