The Dreaming Eli Runway Show Was a Tribute to Heartbreak
For the AW25 collection, Dreaming Eli explored all the possible layers of the female body and its feelings.
Elisa Trombatore, the creative force behind Dreaming Eli, showcased her latest collection at the London Fashion Week on Friday.
“Between my heart and ribs, where blood pulses fierce. Right there, where my core is, where the truth hides, entangled in my veins, covered in layer over layer of tissue, protected by muscles contracting strong and powerful,” read the description of the show of this rising star fashion talent.
The show was a combination of art performances. The designer set dramatical scenes that resembled emotions of the body, acting as a visual representation of self-discovery.
This was also supported by the choice of colors and textures of the designs.
The scenes included dance performances and one model dressed in a plastic sheet ate a pomegranate which kind of looked like as if she was eating her heart.
