Tate McRae Drops Third Album 'So Close To What'

With So Close To What, Tate McRae moves past her ‘you broke me first’ breakout, adding cameo power from Flo Milli and The Kid LAROI for a more polished pop sound.
For her third album, So Close To What, Tate McRae teamed up with rising stars
Flo Milli and
The Kid LAROI (yes, her boyfriend!) for a couple of standout collabs. Before the album’s release, she dropped Sports Car and It’s ok I’m ok, teasing fans about her evolving sound.
Now, she’s pushing that momentum further with a music video for Revolving Door, which delivers continuous dance scenes directed by Aerin Moreno and choreographed by Robbie Blue — definitely not your run-of-the-mill pop visuals.
Next up: the Miss Possessive Tour kicking off in March. She’s hitting 80 cities across South America, Europe, the UK, and North America, with extra dates in places like Nottingham, London, and Seattle. Considering her first big break was the viral you broke me first, Tate’s come a long way — and So Close To What feels like the next phase of her full-on pop takeover.
