SZA and Keke Palmer just dropped the trailer for their upcoming buddy comedy One of Them Days, hitting theaters January 24.
The duo, who first discovered their crazy chemistry on SNL back in 2022, is back in this R-rated flick as best friends struggling to make rent after a boyfriend drains their funds.
“Best friends and roommates Dreux (Keke Palmer) and Alyssa (SZA) are about to have one of them days. When they discover Alyssa’s boyfriend has blown their rent money, the duo finds themselves going to extremes in a comical race against the clock to avoid eviction and keep their friendship intact.”
In her big-screen acting debut, SZA joins Palmer in this new film directed by Lawrence Lamont, produced by Issa Rae, and written by her Rae’s frequent collaborator Syreeta Singleton. The cast also includes Lil Rel Howery, Janelle James, Maude Apatow, and more.
Following her Grammy wins for Snooze and the album SOS, and releasing her single Saturn, SZA continues to expand her career. Mark your calendars for January 24!
