Storm Reid Calls Zendaya Her Sister for Life Despite Exiting 'Euphoria'

Storm Reid calls Zendaya her “sister for life” despite leaving ‘Euphoria’, saying she’s sure they’ll work together again someday.
American actress Storm Reid, who played
Zendaya’s on-screen sister, Gia, in Euphoria, is confident that the two actresses will work together again someday, following her departure from the series last year.
Speaking to Variety, Reid revealed that she remains close to Zendaya, even though she is not working with her on the third season of Euphoria, which she left in November last year, calling the experience “bittersweet.”
She described Zendaya as her “sister before Euphoria and after” and said she is confident they will “work together again one day in some capacity.”
Reid isn’t the only actress not returning for the third season. Barbie Ferreira confirmed her departure in 2022, and
Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, tragically passed away in 2023.
Filming for Euphoria’s third season began this month, though a release date has yet to be announced.
Reid is currently busy filming Teyana Taylor’s Get Lite, for which she has started taking choreography classes to prepare for the role. She is also set to appear in the comedy Killing Winston Jones alongside
Richard Dreyfuss,
Danny Glover, and
Jon Heder.
