Sam Fender Named as Record Store Day UK 2025 Ambassador
Sam Fender embraces his new ambassador role and unveils a special ‘Me And The Dog’ EP for Record Store Day UK 2025.
Sam Fender has been named the official ambassador for Record Store Day UK 2025, joining past icons like Taylor Swift, Kate Bush, Noel Gallagher, and Elton John. He will celebrate by releasing a six-track vinyl EP, Me And The Dog, which features two previously unreleased tracks—I’m Always On Stage and Empty Spaces—alongside People Watching, Tyrants, the title track, and a live version of People Watching. The EP will be available in-store only on April 12, when over 270 UK shops (and thousands worldwide) host exclusive vinyl drops and parties.
Fender, a longtime vinyl enthusiast who once bought Bruce Springsteen’s Born to Run from Newcastle’s Reflex Records, called the ambassador role a “complete honor.” His new album People Watching is also set to drop this month, featuring artwork by North East photographer Tish Murtha. Post Malone was recently confirmed as an additional RSD 2025 ambassador.
