D4vd's Houston 'Withered' Album Release Show & Livestream Highlights

D4vd celebrated his debut album, Withered, with a packed, sold-out show at Houston’s White Oak Music Hall on April 27th. Billed as the final chapter after his Petals to Thorns EPs, Withered dives into real-life experiences, moving beyond the vicarious storytelling he started with back when making tracks on BandLab for Fortnite montages in his sister’s closet.

Fans worldwide tuned into the livestream, catching the special hometown vibe with his parents watching and siblings involved – brother Cvleb opened, and sister Emily joined for Here With Me. D4vd performed Withered front-to-back, and even sprinkled in some older hits. He chatted with fans, shouted out influences from The Cranberries to The Smiths, and dedicated My House is Not a Home to his parents.

After nailing a redemption backflip (post-Coachella fail!), the emotional peak hit during Afterlife, which he performed twice, overcome thinking about his journey from that closet in 2022. And he closed it all off with the billion-stream hit Romantic Homicide.
