Ruel’s RedBull Symphonic Showdown Lands in Sydney This May

When pop meets classical music—Australia’s rising star joins forces with the Red Bull Symphonic Orchestra for the first time.
Australian singer-songwriter Ruel will perform with the RedBull Symphonic Orchestra in Sydney on May 16, 2025. The event marks the first time the 22-year-old artist will collaborate with Ensemble Apex, presenting his music in a reimagined format at the Sydney Town Hall.
RedBull Symphonic pairs contemporary artists with orchestras to reinterpret their work. Ruel, known for songs like Don’t Tell Me and Painkiller, will have his music arranged and conducted by world-class musicians.
The event will also feature an immersive light experience, enhanced by live electronic performances from Japanese-Australian producer Taka Perry.
The fan presale is live for the next 24 hours and is available through Ruel’s Instagram profile link. General tickets go on sale this Thursday (March 27).
The RedBull Symphonic series has previously featured artists like Metro Boomin and
The Weeknd. Ruel’s participation highlights his rising profile, both in Australia and internationally, as he joins this lineup of notable performers.
