Rachel Zegler gets a surprise visit from Tom Blyth at ‘Romeo + Juliet,’ sparking fresh ‘Hunger Games’ nostalgia.

Rachel Zegler just had an unexpected guest show up to see her Broadway production of Romeo + Juliet! Her Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes co-star, Tom Blyth, came to see her on stage, and Rachel couldn’t be happier about it.

In her latest Instagram post, Zegler shared a photo of herself and Blyth embracing each other at the Circle in the Square Theatre in New York City, with the caption, “look who came to see the show :’).”

But she wasn’t the only one sharing the photo. Tom Blyth took to his Instagram Story to share it as well, saying “bona fide broadway star,” showing her some love for her performance. He also posted another photo in which he holds her so high that her feet can’t touch the ground!

In The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, Zegler played Lucy Gray Baird, the winner of the 10th Hunger Games, as she is mentored by the young Coriolanus Snow, played by Blyth. Both were praised for their on-screen chemistry.

The Hunger Games fans are thrilled to see these two together again, but it reminds them that they’ll have to wait nearly two years before the sequel, Sunrise on the Reaping, finally releases on November 20, 2026.
