Phoebe Dynevor’s upcoming shark thriller, originally known as Beneath the Storm, is going through some changes! First, it’s getting a new title — Shiver. Second, it now has a new release date, set for 2026, according to Deadline.
Directed by Tommy Wirkola, Shiver takes place in a town facing a massive and dangerous hurricane — and a sudden shark attack. As heavy rain pours, strong winds blow, and darkness takes over, the townspeople must work together to stay safe and survive until the storm passes.
Alongside Dynevor, Shiver stars Djimon Hounsou and
Whitney Peak. Filming took place in Australia in August 2024.
Dynevor was recently rumored to be part of M. Night Shyamalan’s next project. She’ll also appear in the upcoming thriller Anniversary with Diane Lane,
Kyle Chandler,
Zoey Deutch, and
Mckenna Grace, as well as in Famous, starring
Zac Efron,
Nicholas Braun,
Debby Ryan, and
Cory Michael Smith.
Shiver was originally scheduled for release on August 1, 2025, but it has now been postponed to July 3, 2026.
