Noah Kahan Covers Kendrick Lamar and Reveals New Songs at Cancún Festival
Noah Kahan’s Cancún set featured a Kendrick cover, new song previews, and album hints, all despite challenging weather.
At the Out of the Blue Festival 2025 in Cancún, Noah Kahan surprised fans with a folk cover of Kendrick Lamar’s Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe. Plus, during his Pool Party set, Kahan previewed three unreleased songs — Doors, Pain Eater, and Porch Light — which are expected to be part of his next album.
Doors was especially well-received for its honest lyrics about vulnerability and relationships, following teasers on social media that built hype during last weeks.
Despite strong winds and some rain, Kahan kept the performance lively, even borrowing a hat from a fan and interacting with the crowd. He was joined on stage by Ashe for their hit collab She Calls Me Back. Kahan’s set included a mix of his popular tracks from the Stick Season (Forever) era and new material, indicating his upcoming album is nearing completion.
