A recent police video suggests that the rapper is indeed banned from Jacksonville, but the situation isn’t as clear-cut as it seems.

Fans have been speculating whether American rapper and singer-songwriter Yungeen Ace (Keyanta Tyrone Bullard)Yungeen Ace actually can’t go to Jacksonville, Florida. The issue is a bit complicated.

According to Yungeen, he doesn’t ask permission to go anywhere. But one thing is for sure—if he gets seen in public in Jacksonville – he’s got a problem.

A video from Duval County claims that Yungeen Ace is no longer welcome within Jacksonville, Florida’s city limits.

Sheriff T.K. Waters explicitly states that if it were his decision, Yungeen Ace would be completely banned from Jacksonville.

At the 16:00 mark, the sheriff refers to a sample associated with the rapper’s track, Who I Smoke. However, he didn’t want to give credit to the creator to avoid promoting him.

The controversial track, which samples Vanessa Carlton’s pop classic A Thousand Miles, faced online backlash due to its provocative lyrics aimed at Ace’s late rival, Julio Foolio, and the seemingly jarring choice of sample.

Sheriff Waters explains that trap music attracts too much violence because of its themes—guns and money.

While it’s true that the local community prefers to live peacefully, people online have mixed feelings. One comment from a fan on Reddit rightfully asks, “What if he wants to live in his hometown?”

We believe Ace has definitely received the message from the police, but will he follow the rule? Time will tell.
