Myles Smith Gets Short-Listed for Brits Rising Star Music Award 2025

A 26-year-old singer from Luton, England, has been steadily paving his way to fame. With hits like Stargazing, which reached the UK Top 10 and was certified Platinum shortly after its release, Myles Smith has proven to the world that he possesses undeniable talent.

When presented with the nomination, Myles expressed his honor at being recognized for the BRITs Rising Star award. He reflected on his journey from performing in pubs and open mic nights in Luton at age 12, highlighting music as his way of connecting with the world.

At nine, Myles Smith received his first guitar from his mum and quickly taught himself to play, later adding the piano. By 12, he was performing at local open mics in Luton.

In 2020, Myles began posting covers on TikTok, going viral in 2022 with his renditions of Sweater Weather and I Found.

Although Myles hasn’t released a full album yet, his impressive EPs have captured the hearts of fans. His most recent A Minute… EP features Stargazing, which has amassed over 540 million listens on Spotify.
