Milly Alcock Dons Supergirl’s Iconic Costume in 'Woman of Tomorrow' First Look

Milly Alcock makes her Supergirl debut in a gritty new take on the hero, set to hit theaters in June 2026.
Australian actress Milly Alcock is set to make her superhero debut as Supergirl in the upcoming Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow and Superman movies. Now, we’ve got our first look at Milly in costume!
While filming in London, Alcock was photographed standing atop a tank in her Supergirl suit, which appears to be comic-accurate with its red skirt and boots. A short cape can be seen on her back—a minor departure from the original design, which features a much longer cape.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow promises a completely different, grittier take on the character than we’ve seen before. The film follows Kara Zor-El as she begins traveling the galaxy with her dog, Krypto, on her 21st birthday. Along the way, she meets a young girl named Ruthye and joins her on a bloody revenge quest.
Joining Alcock are Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills,
Eve Ridley as Ruthye Marye Knoll,
David Krumholtz as Zor-El,
Emily Beecham as Supergirl’s mother, and
Jason Momoa as the alien mercenary and bounty hunter, Lobo.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow lands in theaters on June 26, 2026.
