Meet the RIsing Stars of the Upcoming Thriller 'After'
According to Deadline, the indie thriller After has completed filming in western Massachusetts, bringing together a talented cast that balances experienced performers with emerging stars.
Directed by Michael Marantz, the story follows a retired true-crime podcaster who is drawn back into a world of danger and secrets as he searches for his missing sister, whose sudden disappearance raises unsettling questions.
At its center is Dónall Ó Héalai, known for his powerful performances in Arracht and Foscadh, where he earned an Irish Film & TV Award nomination.
Joining him is Tracy Spiridakos, a standout on Chicago P.D., making another leap into film.
Gabriella Piazza (Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning) plays Emily, the sister whose mysterious disappearance drives the story’s tension.
Irish actor Micheál Neeson (Liam Neeson’s son) adds to the list of emerging stars gaining recognition for his work in genre-driven projects like Somewhere Quiet thriller.
Veteran performers Kevin Pollak (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) and Andy Richter (Conan) bring their seasoned expertise, while Melia Kreiling (Emily in Paris) and Karren Karagulian (Anora) add a dynamic mix of intensity and charm.
