Marvel’s 'Ironheart' Starring Dominique Thorne Finally Has a Release Date
Marvel’s ‘Ironheart,’ starring Dominique Thorne, debuts June 25 on Disney+! Get a sneak peek of the new footage!
Great news for Marvel fans! The upcoming miniseries Ironheart, starring Dominique Thorne as Ironheart and Anthony Ramos as The Hood, just received a release date along with new footage from the series.
Marvel released a new promotional video teasing the 2025 projects coming to Disney+ by the end of the year. Among the plethora of upcoming shows is Ironheart, featuring new footage from the series. It shows Ironheart putting on her suit and The Hood preparing his magic. The miniseries is scheduled to release on June 25 on Disney+, just a few months after Daredevil: Born Again drops on March 4.
Keen-eyed fans first spotted footage from Ironheart in September, when Marvel celebrated 85 years with a brand spot highlighting its legacy and showcasing upcoming projects. The Ironheart footage was so brief that it was easy to miss. This time, we’re treated to what feels almost like a teaser!
Besides Thorne and Ramos, Ironheart will also feature Alden Ehrenreich as Joe McGillicuddy, Manny Montana as Cousin John, and Lyric Ross as Natalie Washington, Riri’s best friend.
While more actors have been announced for the series, one stands out—Sacha Baron Cohen has been cast as a “Mystery Man.” While nothing is confirmed, some speculate he could join the MCU as Mephisto.
Ironheart marks Thorne’s TV debut. She made her feature film debut in 2018 in the romantic drama If Beale Street Could Talk and later appeared in Judas and the Black Messiah. Her big break came in 2022 when she played Ironheart in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and it’s clear she nailed the role, as her character now has an entire series!
So, what are you waiting for? Mark your calendars for June 25!
