Lola Tung Returns as Belly in First Teaser for 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' Season 3

The third season of Lola Tung’s romantic drama series The Summer I Turned Pretty is still a few months away from release, but the first teaser has now been unveiled, featuring Tung as Belly Conklin.

Wearing a yellow dress with flowers in the background, Tung recites an iconic quote from Jenny Han’s book, which the series is based on:

“For me, everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August. All year long, I count the days until I’m in that house.”

Filming for the third season began on May 14, 2024, and wrapped on August 6, 2024. It has also been confirmed as the final season, with a release date set for July 2025.

Last year, Tung made her Broadway debut as Eurydice in Hadestown, starring alongside Jordan Fisher as Orpheus. She is currently filming the untitled I Know What You Did Last Summer sequel, alongside Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers, and Jonah Hauer-King, among others.
