Koe Wetzel & Jessie Murph’s 'High Road' Breaks Newcomer Collab Record

Discover how High Road turned two new names into chart powerhouses, claiming five consecutive weeks at No. 1.
Koe Wetzel’s High Road, featuring
Jessie Murph, has made chart history by staying at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart for five straight weeks.
This marks the first time two debut acts have achieved such a feat and makes High Road only the sixth debut single since 1990 to hold the top spot for that long.
High Road is the lead single from Wetzel’s fifth studio album, 9 Lives (Columbia Records), which became his fourth Billboard Top 10 album and landed at No. 7 on the year’s “Best Albums” list. The song explores the ups and downs of a tumultuous relationship and was co-written by Wetzel, Murph, Amy Allen, Carrie Karpinen, Laura Veltz, Josh Serrato, and producer Gabe Simon.
It has racked up over 330 million global streams and reached RIAA Platinum status faster than any of Wetzel’s previous singles.
Next year, Wetzel will hit the road for a major tour including headline shows at San Antonio Rodeo, Windy City Smokeout, and more. Stay tuned!
