Following his BRIT Award win and standout Coachella performance, Sam Fender digitally releases the upbeat rock anthem ‘Tyrants’ for all fans to enjoy.

Sam Fender has finally made his fan-favorite track Tyrants available on streaming platforms, after previously limiting it to physical formats. Originally released on his exclusive vinyl EP Me And The Dog for Record Store Day UK 2025, the song quickly became sought-after among listeners. Fender announced the digital release on social media, thanking fans and sharing minimalist black-and-white artwork.

Co-produced by Adam Granduciel performs during an evening with The War on Drugs at Gold Pacific Studios on October 20, 2022 in Newport Beach, California. Timothy NorrisAdam Granduciel of The War On Drugs, who also worked on Fender’s acclaimed 2024 album People Watching, Tyrants offers an upbeat, energetic rock sound—marking a lighter shift from Fender’s typical introspective style. Brooke Bentham adds rich backing vocals, while an electric guitar solo drives the song’s anthemic energy. Fender sings openly about ego struggles and personal growth, urging listeners to “rail against the tyrants” and celebrate life.

Fender recently showcased Tyrants live at Coachella 2025 alongside Granduciel, creating one of the weekend’s standout moments. Following his BRIT Award win for Rock/Alternative Act, Fender continues his busy festival run, headlining Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Ireland’s Electric Picnic, plus major outdoor shows across the UK this summer.
