Jack Quaid steps into another action flick, following his role as the pain-resistant hero Nathan Caine in Novocaine, with a supporting part in the upcoming action-comedy Heads of State, which just dropped its first trailer.
Heads of State follows U.S. President Will Derringer (
John Cena) and U.K. Prime Minister Sam Clarke (
Idris Elba), two political rivals forced to team up when a major global threat emerges. They join forces with MI6 agent Noel Bisset (
Priyanka Chopra Jonas) and a key ally played by Jack Quaid. Together, they embark on a dangerous mission around the world, trying to stop the threat before it’s too late.
Joining Cena, Elba, Chopra Jonas, and Quaid are stars like 
Paddy Considine, 
Stephen Root, 
Carla Gugino, 
Sarah Niles, and more. Ilya Naishuller directs the film, following up his 2021 action hit Nobody and the 2015 sci-fi film Hardcore Henry.
Besides Heads of State, Quaid also stars in the crime thriller Neighborhood Watch, which released its first trailer earlier this month and premieres on April 25.
Heads of State hits theaters on July 2, 2025.
