Joe Keery, aka Djo, hints at a new music project on Instagram after his successful solo debut and second album release.

Did you know that American actor and singer Joe Keery, best known for playing Steve Harrington in Stranger Things, has a musical alter ego? He calls himself Djo, and he’s been releasing music since 2019!

He originally started releasing music under the name Cool Cool Cool and, at one point, played drums and guitar for the psych-rock band Post Animal. With the band, he also released a second album, which saw him transition from drums to becoming a vocalist and guitarist. By 2019, he left the band due to his acting schedule.

His first solo single as Djo, titled Roddy, was self-released in 2019. It was followed by another single, Chateau (Feel Alright), and in September, he dropped his first album as Djo, Twenty Twenty. In 2022, he released his second studio album, Decide, which featured the song End of the Beginning. which became a huge hit on social media.

Now, his Instagram profile seems to hint at another project coming up. His feed is compiled of a series of pictures, each captioned with a number and a title. When viewed together, the pictures form a photo of a strange setting with many people and things happening. Could this be Djo telling us a new project is in the works? See for yourself.
