Mckenna Grace Cast in 'Hunger Games' Prequel 'Sunrise on the Reaping'
Mckenna Grace joins ‘Sunrise on the Reaping’ as Maysilee Donner, with new roles and big 2025 releases also on the horizon.

Mckenna Grace is about to step into The Hunger Games universe in the upcoming movie Sunrise on the Reaping!
According to Deadline, she’s joining the cast as Maysilee Donner, alongside 
Joseph Zada as Haymitch and 
Whitney Peak as Lenore Dove Baird. The film will be directed by Francis Lawrence, from a screenplay by Billy Ray, based on 
Suzanne Collins’ novel.
Sunrise on the Reaping follows 16-year-old Haymitch Abernathy as he’s thrown into the deadly 50th Hunger Games, where twice the usual number of tributes are forced to fight. After a shocking reaping in District 12, Haymitch must rely on his instincts and clever thinking to survive a dangerous arena full of traps. Along the way, he begins to understand just how twisted the Capitol really is—something that changes him forever.
Grace has a packed schedule for 2025 and 2026 as well. She’s currently filming the romantic drama Regretting You with 
Allison Williams, the upcoming slasher Scream 7 with 
Neve Campbell, and the comedy New Year’s Rev with 
Mason Thames.
