Jodie Comer and Hugh Jackman begin filming ‘The Death of Robin Hood’, a dark twist on the legend, in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Jodie Comer and Hugh Jackman’s upcoming epic action film, The Death of Robin Hood, has finally started filming in Belfast, Northern Ireland! The film was first announced in May 2024, and now it’s finally moving closer to the silver screen.

The Death of Robin Hood presents a darker take on the legendary tale. It follows a badly injured Robin Hood (Jackman), caught between life and death and haunted by his criminal past, as he finds himself in the care of a mysterious woman (Comer).

Besides Jackman and Comer, the movie also features Bill Skarsgård, Murray Bartlett, and Noah Jupe. It is directed by Michael Sarnoski, who also wrote the screenplay.

Comer has two other projects in the works: 28 Years Later with Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Ralph Fiennes, which recently had its first trailer released, and The Last Disturbance of Madeline Hynde with Patricia Arquette and Michael Sheen.
