Jessie T. Usher teases A-Train’s fate in ‘The Boys’ final season, hinting at twists, redemption, and a possible return to The Seven.

American actor Jessie T. Usher, who is best known for playing A-Train on The Boys, recently opened up about his future in the fifth and final season of the show—more specifically, about A-Train’s character arc going one way or another.

Talking to Screen Rant at the recent Saturn Awards, he shared that if A-Train made another U-turn and returned to The Seven, it “would not be an uninteresting move for the character.”

In Season 4, A-Train begins seeking personal redemption and starts working with Mother’s Milk, tasked with spying on The Seven. By the end of the season, his fate remains unclear. Homelander finds out he was the mole, and A-Train disappears from the public eye.

Usher also shared that he feels the writers finally steered A-Train in the right direction, so he would find it mind-blowing to see him make another turn and join The Seven again. But whatever direction it takes, he’s down for it as long as it’s “creative and fun.”

The fifth season was announced on May 14, 2024, and one month later, it was revealed that it will be the final season. Jared Padalecki, Paul Reiser, and Daveed Diggs were confirmed to make guest appearances on the show. With the season currently being filmed, we can expect it to be released sometime in 2026.
