Jessica Barden Welcomes Second Child with Director Max Winkler

English actress Jessica Barden, best known for playing Alyssa Foley in The End of the Fxxxing World, just gave birth to her second child with director Max Winkler!

She confirmed the news on her Instagram by sharing a photo of her from the hospital, as she cradles her little bundle of joy, with her husband Winkler by her side.

Barden married Winkler in 2021, and it’s speculated that the two got together while filming the 2019 sports drama Jungleland, directed by Winkler and starring Barden, alongside Charlie Hunnam and Jack O’Connell.

Before 2021 ended, Barden announced she was pregnant during the lockdown and that she gave birth to their first child together, a daughter.

Prior to revealing the news of having the second child, Barden teased the upcoming birth last month when she posted a selfie of herself, captioned “Mother of 2 era,” getting only praise in the comments for her glow-up.

Last year, Barden appeared in the Dune spin-off series Dune: Prophecy as the young Valya Harkonnen and in three episodes of American Horror Stories, playing a different role in each episode. Now that she has landed another role as the mother of two, it’s unclear when we will get to see her on screen again.
