Aaron Pierre, the English actor who recently made a splash with his latest thriller Rebel Ridge, is showing his softer side! The actor went on his Instagram and shared a series of four screenshots from his Spotify playlist, each carrying a similar theme: love.
First off, Aaron shares Sonya Spence’s Let Love Flow On, which emphasises that love should develop naturally and that one should be open to emotional connections, simply because of the positive effect love has on our lives, enriching us and bringing us joy.
Second on the list is Earth, Wind & Fire’s Can’t Hide Love, which, as the title suggests, explores the difficulty of keeping one’s feelings concealed and suppressing the feelings of love. The moral of this story is: the more you try to hide some feelings, the more real they are.
The third song Aaron shared is Sade’s Kiss of Life, a song celebrating the healing and rejuvenating power of love—how it can completely turn one’s life around, give a person new purpose, and breathe life into their barren soul.
Lastly, Aaron shared Marvin Gaye’s Come Live with Me Angel, a song that takes the step from all the talking about love to a rather physical and intimate closeness, inviting a loved one to share life more closely by living and experiencing life together. Pretty bold choice for a last song!
It’s pretty clear that somebody is in their feels (looking at you, Aaron) and is ready to tell the world and maybe start a new chapter with a special somebody. While who that might be is a mystery, it’s clear that love is in the air yet again!
