Cher Lloyd floors it in her new video, pushing ‘Green Light’ as a rallying cry for confidence, control, and saying yes to new opportunities.

Cher Lloyd performs at the Mighty Hoopla Festival at Brockwell Park in London, England. BACKGRID UK 1 JUNE 2024Cher Lloyd premiered the official music video for her single Green Light this weekend, directed by Nic Minns and produced by Ramshackle Productions. The video features neon-inspired visuals, choreography by Austyn Farrell, and hair/makeup by Enya Sullivan. It follows her earlier 2025 track Head Down, and continues the idea of moving forward, relying on a “green light” metaphor to represent self-trust and starting anew.

Rising to prominence on The X Factor in 2010, Lloyd scored early hits like Swagger Jagger and the album Sticks + Stones, yet faced label changes and industry challenges along the way. Despite that Lloyd has remained active through fashion collaborations (such as her streetwear line Glo) and by engaging with fans online. Now a mother of two, she has spoken openly about balancing her personal life with her music career.

Many listeners are already anticipating further material, fueled by speculation of a third album hinted at by her management.
