With wedding designers currently showcasing their latest collections at New York Bridal Fashion Week, we can’t not notice this standout trend, captivating not only the the audience but the upcoming brides to be, too.

Miranda Priestly may have been right that floral patterns are not very original for spring. But when it comes to bridal fashion, flowers will forever be groundbreaking.

For the 2025 / 2026 season, designers are embracing floral motifs in various forms, from intricate embroidery and delicate appliqués to bolder prints and three-dimensional embellishments.

Wedding designer Reem Acra even named her collection Roses, dedicating the whole presentation to flowers.

We’re talking full flower-embroidered wedding gowns, floral veils and more accessories like headbands or gloves.

Another bridal designer, Mira Zwillinger, presented a couture collection titled Far Beyond where the floral design was slightly more delicate but still with a guaranteed wow effect.

The trend adds a unique touch to wedding gowns, whether embraced in a vintage or more modern, minimalistic way.

It’s also suitable for any leading-up events like bridal showers or bachelorettes, for example in a mini dress version.

And as a cherry-on-top, it beautifully reflects the essence of love and celebration, making it a perfect choice for brides-to-be.
