The ‘Yellowjackets’ Season 3 teaser drops chilling hints, with shocking imagery, new cast members, and a Valentine’s Day debut!

The Yellowjackets girls are back with the first teaser for the third season, featuring a few shots teasing what’s to come. And from what we’ve seen so far, it seems we’re in for a ride.

Clocking in at just 15 seconds, the teaser doesn’t offer much in terms of plot, but some of the shots certainly raise eyebrows. Besides the unknown screaming girl in the opening scene, there seems to be Lottie (Courtney Eaton) getting choked, one masked figure assaulting another with a sharpened stick, older Shauna (Melanie Lynskey) screaming her lungs out, and younger Shauna (Sophie Nélisse) holding a knife.

The short clips flash alongside imagery of a skull with bees on it and a heart-shaped ring. By the end of the teaser, a symbol is carved into the skull’s forehead, and an axe briefly appears as if struck into the back of the skull before disappearing again. All of this is accompanied by the tagline: “Eat your heart out.”

Two new actors will be joining the cast this season: Hilary Swank and Joel McHale. Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, Simone Kessell, and Lauren Ambrose will all return, along with their younger counterparts Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Courtney Eaton, and Liv Hewson.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, series co-creator Ashley Lyle revealed that the third season will clearly answer at least two very big questions. What those questions might be remains to be seen.

The third season consists of 10 episodes and is set to premiere on Paramount+ with Showtime on February 14, 2025. So, you already know what your Valentine’s Day plans are going to be.
