At Summerfest, comfort is key. The Stephen J. Schwalbe Respite Pavilion, open daily from noon to 10:00 pm, offers a tranquil haven for individuals with disabilities and special needs. This facility provides accessible restrooms, showers, charging stations for wheelchairs, and a quiet, temperature-controlled environment. Staffed by volunteers from the United Spinal Association, it ensures a welcoming atmosphere for all.
What to Bring
Pack wisely! Allowed items include umbrellas, small cameras, and cinch bags. However, leave behind backpacks, large bags, and outside food and drinks unless medically necessary. Note, strollers and umbrellas are restricted in certain areas.
Weather Alerts
Summerfest runs rain or shine, but stay vigilant for severe weather updates via on-site signage and social media. Activities might be postponed or canceled for safety.
Family Fun
Create lasting memories with your family at the Northwestern Mutual Community Park. Enjoy performances by magicians, dance groups, and more. The park features inclusive play areas for childrenren aged 2 to 12, including those with special needs.
