Doechii Announded as 2025 Frost Festival Headliner
The Frost Music and Arts Festival is gearing up to be a major moment of 2025.
Slated for April 12 at Frost Amphitheater at Stanford University, the event headlines 
Doechii, fresh off winning Best Rap Album at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. 
Zack Fox, known for his roles in comedy and Abbott Elementary, will open the show.
Organized by the Stanford Concert Network, Frost Fest has featured rising talents in the past, including 
Kali Uchis and 
Victoria Monét.
The organizers decided to restrict ticket access to Stanford affiliates because of an artist radius clause, which typically requires that certain shows maintain local exclusivity. While this move might reduce overall ticket sales, SCN leadership notes it allows them to book bigger, more mainstream names like Doechii.
The student-led team (Johan Sotelo, Chaélyn Anderson, Carmel Limcaoco, and Naima Patel) relied on social media feedback and early outreach to secure the headliner. Presale tickets run from Feb. 12 at 10 a.m. to Feb. 13 at 10 p.m., with general sales opening Feb. 14 at 10 a.m.
