Corey Kent Returns with Country-Rock Release 'Girl I Never Met ,' Adds More Black Bandana Tour Dates

Corey Kent is kicking off 2025 with Girl I Never Met, his first new release since Black Bandana in 2024. Released on March 7, the song sticks to Kent’s country-rock sound, telling the story of a breakup so rough he wishes it never happened. He co-wrote it with Casey Brown, Jordan Minton, and Travis Wood, with Chris Farren handling production. The track keeps things emotional but still packs plenty of energy.

Kent has a big year ahead. He’s keeping the Black Bandana Tour rolling, jumping on Jon Pardi’s Honkytonk Hollywood Tour in April, and later joining Morgan Wallen for select I’m The Problem Tour dates this summer.
