He shared that he wrote Holidays during a visit to his hometown in Texas, where each return feels a little less familiar with new shops, roads, and faces. But despite all the changes, the laughter he shares with his friends has remained a comforting constant.
He called the song his love letter to friendship and growing up, and gave a special thanks to his friends Ethan Gruska and Dan Nigro for helping him produce it in the middle of summer. Conan suggested that the best way for listening to his new track is “miserably driving” around your hometown. Indeed, the melancholy-infused Holidays would make the perfect companion.
