Founded in her dorm room during the summer of 2017, Tia’s journey began after she graduated from The New School in May 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Culture and Media.

Teni “Tia” Adeola, a fashion designer originally from Nigeria and raised in London, is now making waves in New York’s fashion scene with her eponymous brand.

Drawing inspiration from her background in art history and a deep passion for the Renaissance period, she aims to challenge and rewrite historical narratives through her designs, particularly focusing on the representation of people of color in fashion.

Typical for her are very feminine designs with sheer, ruffled details. Tia Adeola’s work reflects a commitment to merging historical influences with contemporary aesthetics, creating pieces that resonate with cultural significance and empowerment.
