During his time at Central Saint Martins, Ives made headlines when he dressed model Adwoa Aboah for the 2021 Met Gala, catching the attention of icons like Rihanna, who subsequently enlisted him to assist in creating her first Fenty collection.

His talent was further recognized when his work was included in the prestigious exhibition In America: A Lexicon of Fashion at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where his designs were celebrated for their innovative approach to sustainability.
