Charli XCX Becomes the Songwriter of the Year at Brit Awards 2025

Britain’s favorite Brat walks away with another award. The avant-garde electronic pop phenomenon is here to secure more wins at BRITs 2025.
Charli XCX just dominated the 2025 BRIT Awards with five nominations—the most of any artist this year—including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year.
Today she takes the prestigious BRITs Songwriter of the Year award, joining past winners like Ed Sheeran and

Her sixth album, BRAT, topped the UK charts, got a Mercury Prize nomination, and now has a remix version featuring Billie Eilish and
Ariana Grande.
Charli was also named Variety’s Hitmaker of the Year and won the Visionary Award at the Ivor Novellos and Billboard’s Powerhouse Award.
This year’s BRIT Awards, hosted by Jack Whitehall for the fifth time, promises an unforgettable night of live performances by JADE,
Lola Young,
Myles Smith,
Sabrina Carpenter,
Sam Fender,

The Last Dinner Party, alongside award presentations and standout moments.
